The team at Seven Hills Pet Hospital is comprised of highly trained and experienced animal health professionals who have a genuine love for working with pets. Our staff treats every patient with the highest quality of medical care as well as a gentle touch.
Dr. Matthew Allen, Veterinarian
Dr. Matthew Allen is originally from Jefferson City, Missouri. While completing his bachelor’s degree in Animal Science at the University of Missouri he worked as a veterinary technician at a local animal hospital. After completion of his bachelor’s degree, Matthew worked as a veterinary technician in laboratory animal medicine where he gained valuable medical experience treating everything from mice to monkeys. In 2013, he was admitted to the University of Missouri’s School of Veterinary Medicine and graduated in 2017. Dr. Allen has a special interest in cardiology and is excited to be a part of the Seven Hill’s Pet Hospital team.
Dr. Jill Cordeiro, Veterinarian
Dr. Jill Cordeiro joined our team full time in 2017. She was born in upstate New York and grew up along the gulf coast of Alabama. As the child of a registered nurse, she was exposed to medicine from a young age. She always knew she would end up in a medical career due to her desire to ease the suffering of others and counsel them through difficult times. During middle school, she realized that this love of medicine could be combined with her passion for animal welfare and she decided to pursue a career in veterinary medicine. She graduated in 2007 from Auburn University with a bachelor’s degree in Zoology. During this time, she also was active in the Auburn University marching band and orchestral programs and pursued a minor concentration in music with focus in French horn performance. She then graduated with a Doctorate of Veterinary Medicine from Auburn University in 2010.
Dr. Cordeiro moved to Las Vegas in 2010 shortly after graduation and currently lives here with her dog Freebird. In her spare time, she enjoys hiking, travelling, and live music. She is an avid Auburn Tigers fan. She enjoys providing professional and compassionate care for all of her patients, and feels truly grateful to have a job she can look forward to every day.
Dr. Terry Keo, Veterinarian
Dr. Keo has been a member of our team since 2011. In 1998, Dr. Keo graduated with his Doctorate in Veterinary Medicine from North Carolina State University and moved to Las Vegas after accepting a position at an animal hospital in Henderson, NV. He has worked at a few hospitals around the valley over the years and has a very loyal following because clients love the care that he provides their pets. Dr. Keo currently works with us 2 days a week and also spends his time working at Heaven Can Wait Animal Sanctuary. Dr. Keo has 2 dogs, Ellie and Mushy, and a cat named Buick.
Dr. Lily Prado, Veterinarian
Dr. Lily Prado was born and raised in Orange County California. She has been a part of the veterinary industry for nearly 10 years, working as a veterinary technician for 5 years while earning her bachelor’s in animal and Veterinary Science from California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. Following her undergraduate studies, she worked for one year as a customer service representative at Antech Diagnostics, a veterinary diagnostic laboratory. She then started veterinary school at Ross University on the island of St. Kitts in the Caribbean and completed her clinical training at the University of Illinois.
Dr. Judy Van Der Walt, Veterinarian
Dr. Van Der Walt joined our team in 2015. She has international experience, having trained and practiced in South Africa, where she owned her own practice, before relocating to her home state of Wyoming. She moved to Las Vegas in 2005 and has been working in both Henderson and Boulder City. She shares her home with her 2 cats.
Flora, Customer Service Coach.
Flora has been a member of our team since 2014. She provides excellent customer service to our clients and their pets. She is originally from California, and has been living in the Las Vegas area for almost 20 years. Her family moved here from Egypt 35 years ago. Flora enjoys spending her free time with her 3 dogs, Carmela, BooBoo, and Wooter. Flora says, “I love what I do. I love being able to give our clients and their fur babies the best. Helping your pet live a healthy life is priceless.”
Ashley, Lead Receptionist
Ashley joined our team in December 2016. She was born in Lake Tahoe, CA and moved to Las Vegas when she was 4 years old. Ashley graduated from Pima Medical Institute in 2011, with a certification in Veterinary Assisting, She has worked in animal hospitals as a receptionist and vet assistant. Ashley enjoys spending her free time at home with her husband and children. They also share their home with 2 dogs, Brewskie and Marlie, a cat named Luna and a gecko named Lenny.
Laura “LC” recently joined our practice in August 2018. she was born and raised in Germany. After moving to Ohio, she started in the vet world as a kennel assistant moving up to vet assistant. In 2001 she was diagnosed with fibromyalgia but hasn’t let that stop her for doing the things she loves. Her family moved to Las Vegas in 2009 and she shortly followed suit since family is important to her. When she’s not at the front desk she loves to read, play video games, geocache, and cuddle her cat. Her is a big fluffy Orangcicle of a cat that loves to eat and snuggle.
Ashley is new to the field of veterinary medicine and joined our team in 2018 to learn more about animals and how to help people by providing customer service and comfort to pet owners. She has worked in various fields, but has always been an animal lover. Ashley is from a small town in Wyoming, but has lived in Henderson for the last 17 years. She enjoys spending time with her husband, 2 kids, and their cat, King. We have affectionately nicknamed her “Ashley 2” so we know which Ashley we are referring to!
My name is Leslie Padilla. I was born in Mesa, AZ. I moved to Las Vegas in 1990 at the age of 5 with my parents and little sister. I have a fiancé and we have four kids together. In my free time my fiancé and I love to take our kids out and do family events. We have one pet, she is a blue nose/brindle pitbull puppy and her name is Bella. I love animals. The best part of my job here is seeing all those cute little fury faces come in.
Britney is originally from Chicago & moved to Las Vegas in 2001 to pursue a racing career. After getting involved as a race car driving instructor, she wanted a full time job in something she truly enjoyed. She started working at her first animal hospital in 2005. Since then she has worked in boarding facilities & trained as a Vet Tech Assistant, but always preferred to stay up front as a Receptionist. She enjoys the animals & the people. She currently has 7 animals in her home in Summerlin. 2 black labs, 1 yellow pomeranian mix, 1 black & tan chihuahua, 1 black cat, 1 white bunny & 1 cockatiel.
Linzi, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Linzi joined our team in 2018 and is one of our Licensed Veterinary Technicians. Born in Nebraska and raised in Tucson Arizona, she moved to Las Vegas in 2006 when her family decided to relocate. She graduated from Pima Medical Institute’s Veterinary Technician Program in 2012 and obtained her LVT license in 2013 after passing the national board exam. She has been working in the Veterinary field since 2010 with 5 years spent working at Banfield Pet Hospital and 2.5 years at the Animal Foundation animal shelter. On her days off Linzi can be found out and about doing fun family activities with her girlfriend and 10 year old daughter. Linzi has three rescue cats named Pippin, Senpai and D’Artagnan.
Perla, Licensed Veterinary Technician
Perla joined the Seven Hills Pet Hospital fall of 2018; she was born and raised Las Vegas, NV. She started studying Veterinary medicine in 2013 at Pima Medical Institute. She received her associate degree in Veterinary Technology in 2016, then in 2017 became a Licensed Veterinary Technician. She is the proud parent of 3 Pomeranians and enjoys working with animals. On her spare time Perla likes listening to music and like going to concerts and traveling.
Rory, Veterinary Nurse
Rory joined the Seven Hills Pet Hospital team in 2016. He was born and raised in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania where he gained experience volunteering in shelters, working in an emergency animal hospital, and taking classes at the Pittsburgh Vet Tech Institute. Rory moved to the Las Vegas Valley in September 2016 and adopted his feline companion, Magnolia, from the LV Humane Society shortly after moving. He enjoys hiking through the desert and identifying Mojave flora and fauna in his free time.
Paige, Veterinary Nurse
Paige was born in Glendale AZ and moved to Las Vegas 4 years ago. She has her veterinary assistant certification and is currently attending Pima Medical Institute to become a veterinary technician. She has worked in the veterinary field for one year now and loves it. She has worked at PetSmart and Petflow prior to deciding to go into the medical side of helping animals. Paige is married to Jacob who is in the Air Force and currently stationed out here in NV. They have a toddler son named Noah and have a skinny (hairless) guinea pig named Dudley, Boxer/ American Bulldog named Rajah, German Shepherd/Rat terrier named Jag, and a cat named Simba
Bryanna, Veterinary Nurse
Holly, Veterinary Nurse
Holly joined our team in June 2016. She is originally from Greely, CO, but was raised in Las Vegas. Holly brings 5 years of vet assisting experience to our team. She has 2 dogs, Miya and Nadia, an English Starling bird that she rescued and raised, and three cats. In her free time she enjoys being outdoors, taking road trips, and drawing.
Alex, Veterinary Nurse
Alex has been part of the Seven Hills Pet Hospital team since 2016. She was born and raised in Las Vegas, NV. Alex obtained her veterinary assisting certification from Animal Behavioral College. She is also certified in animal first aid and CPR. Alex discovered her interest animals when she rescued her first dog “Mimi”, a Basset Hound. It took one visit to the animal foundation for her to make the decision to work with animals for the rest of her life. Alex began working in the boarding kennels at a veterinary clinic immediately after her high school graduation and has been gaining veterinary assisting experience and learning new things every day! Alex now volunteers at the Animal Foundation in her free time. She currently shares her home with three rescue dogs named Tate, Gretel, and Rowdy.
Iuritzy, Veterinary Nurse
Ritzy joined the team in 2018. She was born and raised in the city of Ensenada, Mexico. In 1999 she moved to the Las Vegas Valley. She became a certified veterinary assistant in 2018 and loves her job. On her free time, you will find her cuddling her two dogs Ewa & Droopy, spending time binge watching TV with her husband or hiking somewhere outside the valley.
Tristan, Veterinary Nurse
Tristan has been a part of the team since November 2011 and is currently part of the weekend team at Seven Hills Pet Hospital. He has taken interest in medicine early in his career and has pursued undergraduate degrees in pre-medical professional studies and kinesiology. Tristan is currently working towards becoming a physician, specializing in trauma and orthopedic surgery. Outside of medicine, his interests include outdoor activities and exploring with his Siberian husky, listening to music, and reading.
